Problem with GPU-Decoding

Postby nudel95 » 14 Jul 2012 16:55

The GPU-Decoding worked well until today.

this is how my problem looks like: http://www.imagebanana.com/view/kyalzjf4/Unbenannt.PNG

Things i have changed since the last time: Updated my Graphics driver to amd catalyst 12.6 and updated VLC player from 2.0.1 to 2.0.2

my graphics card: amd mobility Radeon HD 5850

Does anyone got similar problems? If i turn the GPU-decoding off, everything works fine, but the CPU-load is three times higher.

This is a bug in the 12.6 and 12.7 beta catalyst drivers.
Fix is to disable gpu acceleration or just roll back to catalyst 12.4 as of right now.
