How to disable crash reports?

Postby gelemos » 16 Feb 2012 23:16

VLC works - no problems.
but EVERY time before new starting of program I see two messages:
1) that crash was during last using (I saw nothing) and do you want to send report? YES or NO.
2) after YES - new message Thank you and press OK or Problem with FTP connection - report was not sent and press OK.

I checked all properties. nothing.
I want to disable the messages. help me.
I don't want to see the useless messages 30 times per day.

When trying to update via Help-Check for updates, VLC 2.01 crashes constantly.

After the 3rd time I gave up and manually installed v.2.02 running the downloaded .exe file.

When launching v.2.02 again there was this error again.
Closing VLC and relaunching solved the issue (no error anymore).

One way or the other, update via Help is not working properly, at least, not with me.
