Just for the record ; VLC beta (from Google Play) runs fine on an Archos 80 G9 Turbo with ICS 4.0.3 ...

I ran all the tests and only had some break-ups in the first 2 .mkv files.

Thanks for bringing VLC to Android !
Using it to watch episodes from series (.avi and .mp4) that I missed on TV ...

BlackBerry is a Java platform as far as third party software is concerned. Running VLC on BlackBerry is completely impossible.
