display audio visualization ( spectrum ) while playing audio

I find it helpful to display audio visualization ( I like spectrum ) while playing audio file.
But I find there is no quick way to do this other than using the audio menu steps by steps.
I would suggest:
1. display the last audio visualization used the next time you play another audio file.
2. ( optional ) a quick way to turn on /off audio visualization such as using hotkeys

Not in my Windows 7 x 64 if I turn on visualization for one mp3 and then close the vlc , the audio visualization is not available for the next mp3 file.

Closing VLC will forget the Visualization filter in case it isn't set on via Tools -> Preferences...

VLC only remembers a select few visualizations in Tools, Preferences, Audio selection. All visualizations including especially "Spectrum" should be represented under this tab. Currently, in VLC version 3.0.3 running under MS Windows 10 Pro, it does not save the visualization "Spectrum". It goes back to "Disabled" after VLC is closed and re-opened again with a new audio file to be played.

This should be an[ b]easy[/b] addition to save the last played visualization, no matter what one of the many visualizations you have.
