vlc 2.0. & 2.0.1 forced aspect ratio problem and repeat all

Postby hsunny » 19 Jun 2012 04:28

I'm facing two problems in the new VLCs -the 2 latest versions
2 latest versions of VLC are unable to force aspect ratio of 16:9 on my videos if these videos are natively 4:3 or 16:10 or anything like 1280x644 etc etc .
vlc1.1 does that fine .
another problem in new VLCs is that they cant set repeat all option in preferences . everytime i set it change back . palyback stops aftre each video which is irritating
earlier vlc did that fine .
Everything else is perfect including the new subtitle colorisation option.
please help solve the above said issues.

I can't get VLC to remember the "Repeat" setting either. It sucks.

(VLC 2.0.1, Tools / Preferences / All / Playlists / Repeat current item)

BTW: Isn't there some way to "vote" for a problem? Like GetSatisfaction.com?
