Stream any file playing on main pc.

I have searched a lot with and have found nothing that works.

What I am trying to do is sync vlc between 3 pc's. Living Room, Kitchen, and Bedroom. I have 3 pc's with the living room being the main pc that i plan to stream from. I use remote for vlc on my android that allows me to control vlc from my phone, pic files, pause, volume etc. My wife like to watch the same thing in all rooms, this is why I am trying to accomplish this.

What I am aiming to do is have vlc stream any file that the main pc plays without having to set up a stream every time.

I use the remote for vlc on my phone to pick the file then i would like it to automatically stream to the other computers in my home.

Any information would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance.

As far as I know, there is no simple way to do that, using just the default VLC installation... you would need to do some scripting... maybe LUA can accomplish this? Never tried it.. so.. good luck! http://www.videolan.org/developers/vlc/ ... README.txt

Thanks for the advice, I'm going to keep googling maybe find someone else who has done this successfully.
