Enabling Blue Scroll and MKV chapters on 2.0.1?

Hi.
I recently updated VLC from 2.0 to 2.0.1, and I immediately noticed that the time bar has changed. Looking through the forums it seems that there were some requests to have the time bar changed back into a linear format. However, I would really love to have that blue time bar back (perhaps there is an option I overlooked?). Any help would be great!

Oh, and also, the MKV chapters would show on the time bar when hovering in version 2.0 but it seems to be removed(?) from 2.0.1?
