VLC doesn't save some settings

Hi,

I never had any issue with saving settings using VLC. But since that i ve updated to the 2.0.0 version, some settings aren't saved anymore.

For exemple i can't save the "repeat current item" option of the playlist. When i try to, after clicking on the save button and exiting VLC, the option is disabled.

So i d like to have some help to solve this issue. Thanks.

Ok i edited the vlcrc file and now it seems to work. But i still don't know why it wasn't saving the "repeat current item" setting when i was trying to activate it using the "tools>preferences>all>playlist" option.

'Interface>Main interfaces>Lua>Lua HTTP>Source directory' resets on each program restart.

Source directory saves just fine in here.

Yeah, it wouldn't save the settings for me, either. I couldn't find the configuration file, so googled it up. Editing it manually worked.

Ah, I took a look at my configuration file and apparently there were two entries for 'http-src'. I simply commented the second out, and all is right with the world again. I have probably upgraded through too many versions without clearing my settings. I guess VLC was reading the second entry and editing the first.

No, that's a known bug in VLC versions earlier than 2.1.0.
