Close channel after stream ends????

Is it possible to have VLS close down the channel at the end of stream?

i have the same problem, at the end of stream there is a message in vls: "end of ps encountered"

The channel doesnt close itself so it is unusable for another stream or looped stream until you close it itself.

Any ideas how to close it?

Where is it you get that message? If there is a message printed somewhere then I'll just write an expect script to look for it and close the thing automatically.
