Hi,
I'm trying to record stuff in VLC. While I'm recording the subtitles will be displayed. However, when I finish recording and pull up the new file the subtitles are gone. How do I keep them in the recording?

As to why you're losing subtitles on a record, here's one of the most likely reasons why:
The subtitles or closed-captions aren't technically part of the stream for some formats. They are imbedded in certain formats, such as DVD-Video and others, but they can't be auto-accessed. They have to be specifically accessed, and that's very hard to implement in a recorder.

If we can simulate real life so accurately, then isn't our reality maybe just one great big simulation as well?
