Hi,
I found after playing a video with vlc and then close it. My pc ,Windows XP, no longer can turn off the screen automatically after half an hour of no activity.
Is there any exe needed to kill in the task windows?

VLC changes some power saving options when video or image is viewed with it. You can disable this behavior by going to Tools -> Preferences (Show settings: All) Video and untick Disable screensaver. (save and restart after that)
