Apply transform filter to snapshots

Postby bello82 » 19 Apr 2012 23:14

Hello everyone,
I try to capture a dshow device (framegrabber card) providing a horizontal mirrored video signal. With the actual VLC version (2.0.1) the transform hflip filter did not work under Windows (no matter if chosen from menu or command line), although other filters like rotate work. Using the older VLC version 1.10 I was able to apply the transform filter to the live view, but not to snapshots (they are saved in the original mirrored way). Is there a way to apply the transform hflip filter to snapshots? Why does this filter not work with the actual VLC version?

Best Regards,
Tobias

Transform hflip does not work, maybe because of the chroma, in VLC 2.0.1.
You should try VLC 2.1.0 from nightly build to rotate it.

Thank you very much,
Version 2.1 nightly build from 22.4.12 solves both problems.
