I just updated to 2.0.1 and was working on a slide show set to music that played fine on the old version but won't play, or at least very badly on 2.0.1. this is they very first problem I have ever had with VLC in all the years & years I have used it. Please help.

I've upgraded from 1.1.11 to 2.1.11 and can't play all my video files anymore. I've been searching for a similar problem and responses to it but I couldn't find any. Perhaps I've just missed it because I'm not a techie and I couldn't understand most of the posts.I just updated to 2.0.1 and was working on a slide show set to music that played fine on the old version but won't play, or at least very badly on 2.0.1. this is they very first problem I have ever had with VLC in all the years & years I have used it. How do I use GPU accelerated decoding?Ok , fixed I think, I checked the boxes:
1. Use GPU accelerated decoding.
2. Use system codes if available, for WMV codecs.
don't know about no.2 since it is avi file. but anyway it works fine now. thanks.
