VLC 2.01 AUDIO Issue

After the 2.01 update, the audio output to the headphone jack has ceased working; so, no headphones or external speaker functionality. Not a native driver issue since audio output from any other application seems to be working normally; it is definitely from VLC. Please advise on any configurations I may need to change. Thank you!
