Upgraded to 2.0.1 - Video Playback Jumpy/Choppy

Postby misterhighway » 23 Mar 2012 03:54

Tonight I upgraded my version of VLC from 1.1.9 to 2.0.1. I started up the video file that I was watching prior to updgrading, and found that the video now jumps and the video freezes on full-screen playback. It looks beautiful if it isn't full-screen. I am running an XP (32bit) Acer One Netbook, with an Intel Atom 1.33ghz, and 2 gb ram. I uninstalled the 2.0.1 and replaced it with a fresh copy of 1.1.9 from the VLC website. No jumps, no stutter. Is there anything I can try or adjust on the 2.0.1 to make it work? I really like the visual aspect of the update and would like to use it!

Thanks,
[MisterHighway]
