file format support

Postby patddfan » 03 Mar 2012 02:41

in a future update, it would be nice to have VLC supporting NSF, SPC, AY, and other similar audio formats. I know that this may never be possible, but if it ever could, this would replace several other apps I currently have to use.

cool! I had no idea that I could use VLC instead of audio overload to play these files! the only issue I'm noticing is that these NSF files are showing up with a duration of 00:00... but that's only a minor issue.

the formats that VLC can't read so far are:
miniPSF
miniUSF
PSFLIB

I'm noticing that VGZ files are not playing back so good in VLC 2.1.1 so far! thanks
