Hi, I'd like to understand how timeshift should be set to make it work on VLC.
I need to timeshift a live http/s stream and I can't seem to do it. I can register it. I even tried to open registration and don't use registering vlc but one of the two just stops playing/recording. I see timeshift there in the options, the wiki says it's now in the core, but it's not used at all: timeshift folder is always empty. This is with vlc 2.0.0.
How do we -really- use this function?
Can it be due to this problem ?

Pause is there and the request of pausing is accepted by VLC and seems to work but just till the buffer is full because the streaming I am talking about comes from live TV so it's not pauseable, almost not remotely. The same box does timeshifting but, well, at the tv
