Sorry, but where exactly do I find these settings?Decrease your threads number to 4 in preferences.
Unfortunately this doesn't help me.changed video output to OPENGL.
Thank you! That seems to have done the trick!Use the search box in preferences to search threads, so you find the FFmpeg module.
Yes, I set it to 4 as you suggested and now everything plays smoothly.Limiting to 4?
Well, it certainly is not, since the previous 1.1.11 worked just fine without any lag. Then suddenly 2.0.0 fresh install, deleted preferences and caches, reinstalled codecs - lags like crazy. This is not normal.
I will find a solution/work-around for 2.0.1Well, it certainly is not, since the previous 1.1.11 worked just fine without any lag. Then suddenly 2.0.0 fresh install, deleted preferences and caches, reinstalled codecs - lags like crazy. This is not normal.
HA! That also works! Threads to 0 and caching increased to 2000 (even 600 did the job) plays smoothly. Thank you!Can you try to reset the ffmpeg thread to 0 and increase the file-caching value? from 300 ms to something like 500/600 ms
