Blu-ray on mac

Blu Ray playback is working with the VLC 2.0 and 2.1 nightly builds with libaacs, however, the video pauses every 10 seconds or so even though the CPU is mostly idle. Is this a read performance issue with the BD-R? (Maybe a Mac driver problem.) Is there logging that can be enabled to diagnose this?

No, I have the same problem with VLC - but blu-rays play fine with Mac Blu-ray Player (test version).
