Exact same issue I have...I also have VLC 2.0 and i have:
- C:\Program Files (x86)\VideoLAN\VLC\libaacs.dll
- C:\Users\*****\AppData\Roaming\aacsKEYDB.cfg
And when I open VLC and Ctrl+D opening a BluRay disc it gives the error:
Blu-Ray error:
Your system AACS decoding library does not work. Missing keys?
Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'bluray:///E:/'. Check the log for details.
And when I go to explorer and right click on the bluray and chose: "Play with VLC media player"
I just get the error:
Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'dvd:///E:\'. Check the log for details.
So what do I do wrong??
Where do I input that line?BD_DEBUG_MASK=255 vlc.exe -vvv
I'm a novice here when it comes to VLC. Where do I put the BD_DEBUG_MASK=255 vlc.exe -vvv line at?Use the command line. No other way so far.
Did all of that, still having the same error. It is version 2.0 and their first real try at Blu-Ray; I am confident they will overcome this.Place the keys database in appdata/roaming/aacs
then be sure you are opening the disc correctly!!
go to media>open DISC>under "disc selection" make sure you hit the blu ray button
and under "disc device" select the correct drive!!
then hit play at the bottom.
This worked for me. Hope it helps someone.
I use VLC 2.0.0. and Windows 7 64bits.This is obviously a common problem for all of us, is there a VLC rep. on here to clarify the issue?
