It is not that common. PLease try VLC 2.0.0-rc1, it should work better at higher speeds.
I checked, and you are correct, I am using vlc-1.1.11-win32.
I will update and find out--- Thank you
I have installed it, it does work, how well I cannot tell yet. But the vlc icon is gone.... there is an old word-icon in its place?
(Using 7 Ultimate)
When installing I get a pop up saying:
16 bit MS:DOS Subsystem
"Th NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction CS:0000 IP:081b OP:.... (and then there follow several names like "ff ff ff 09 ff" every time I click teh ignore button) Choose "Close" to terminate the application."
And now it has actually stopped working....
I uninstalled completely, installed 1.1.11 again, it works again, but the icon does not appear in the shortcut on the desktop, yet it does work.
