Minor stuttering / low frame rate

Postby polyniki » 01 Feb 2012 14:47

Hello all,

I have connected my Windows 7 64 bit laptop via HDMI to a flat TV and a BENQ projector (obviously not to both devices at the same time). I play mkv and avi files with it and the image stutters a bit, however this does not happen when I watch them directly on my laptop. I tried to play them 1.10 times faster by chosing this setting on the VLC player, yet they then are too fast. Any clues how I can adjust the settings properly? When connecting my PS3 to the TV or the Projector and watching the very same files via PS3 media server, I do not have such problems.

thanks a lot in advance for your help.

Change to single monitor mode when you connect the external display. This is a known issue.
