Access to a program in a Multiplexed TS stream

Postby zoom_neptaz » 29 Sep 2010 10:14

Hi,

I have read many topics and I think that this subject has never been spoken about.

I d like to use VLC in a specific way : i d like to use the mozilla plugin to access to programs which are multiplexed in my TS stream. My access to this stream is done via UDP.
I can easily do that with VLC software ("Play"/"Program") but I have no idea how to access this option with the plugin.

Thanks
VLC Version : 1.0.5 Goldeneye
OS : Windows Vista (not my fault...)

In a manner usually answerd on this forum:

Use ts streaming on local machine via playlist with port opened to outside (intranet, world) and create an accessible HTML page pointing to stream source for VLC plugin and other to local VLC with playlist listed for channel switching :D

In other words, experiment, post the solution or hire a consultant ;)

P.S.
Yes, it is possible, I have similar setup after lot's of trial/errors
