AVI files not playing automatically
Friends: I have lots of .AVI clips. Before I could have double clicked each one and it would play automatically by VLC media player. This does not happen any more. When I click the file it doesn't do anything. I have to manually tell it which media player to play. I reloaded VLC 1.1.11. Same result. I use Windows XP Pro. Thanks for any help.

Reinstall VLC.

And remove %appdata%\vlc folder.
