Full Screen on Second Display

Postby jmggs » 11 Jan 2012 16:23

Hi!

How can i output full screen videos no second display?
I have selected Display Device \\DISPLAY2 and Enable Wallpaper mode. The video is played on second monitor and the controller is on Display2. But the video is smaller and attached to left corner of the display 2. :(

The Display 1 is 1280x1024
Display 2 is 1320x768

I think is different resolutions? How can i set VLC to use Full display on Second Display?

Thanks

Did you try wallpaper mode of Direct3D?
i'am in windows 7. in video i select direct3D out and that plays the video in both screens- If i select wallpaper directx \\display2 it plays on second monitor but is affected by the resolution of first display. I don't see the direct3D wallpaper mode. where is it?

Thanks for the help!

With VLC 1.2.0 the option is the same (Video -> Set as wallpaper), but with VLC 1.1.x it is Video -> Direct3D desktop mode.
