Mozilla plugin Port change? No video but can access site

Postby jetspeedz » 12 Jan 2012 05:02

I use VLC firefox plugin at home for my security DVR to view the camera streams no problem. At work however through firewalls and proxy server i can connect to my DVR no problem but as soon as i select viewing i get the VLC black screen with the icon.

I was wondering if it is possible to change the port in the Mozilla plugin? Or any other suggestions is appreciated. It it just at work that it does not work but at my friends house and other locations it works fine. Using the latest version of VLC.

At work through proxy server I can not connect to my video, I have a problem !
The same video without proxy works. With I can see that VLC plugin bypass the proxy
Which version of VLC plugin do you use ?
Did you make a particular configuration ?

This issus seens to be solved in version 1.2 but not in 2.0
