VLC playlist trouble for streaming.

Postby fanOfVLC » 27 Dec 2011 01:49

Hi,

I am currently streaming VLC to FlowPlayer through my local connection. (Portforwarding to :1234) After a few hours, I've finally fixed the biggest problem, audio.. but, only to come to the realization that VLC's playlists aren't working. Seemingly after each file, it drops the connection with the stream and continues to play on the local VLC running on my computer. I'm doing this through the GUI and I've tried --sout-keep, but I can't seem to get it to keep the connection.

Any ideas?

Still needing help. I attempted at adding both :sout--keep and just sout--keep at the end of the options for streaming, but to no avail as it's still dropping the connection.

it's :sout-keep and you can use --sout "#gather:transcode{...}:std{...}"
