To have not the file name superimposed

Postby goofyto8 » 26 Dec 2011 18:03

Hello,

With VLC 1.1.10 when opening a file and playing it, I get the name of the file superimposed during the first few seconds, on the bottom of the image.
Is it possible to change preferences, in order to have no informations or text displayed on the image ?

Hi goofyto8,

Yes it should be possible. First go to :
Tools => Preferences => Show Settings (all) => Video

Then you'll have to UNcheck "Show Media title on video"
The following pic will show you where it is checked in my preferences, just do the opposite (uncheck) and Save your Preferences, Quit and you're done :)
