Why VLC isn't based under C++ (oriented-object)?
It could be cute . :roll:

If i decide to work on VLC, can i code with C++.

1/ C++ isn't the best thing available performance wise

2/ sure ... some parts of VLC (like interfaces or matroska) are coded in C++, others in some weird Mac OS X language ... Modules can use any language you like

Hey, nothing against Objective-C. It's awesome both in speed and simplicity. ;)
