Some Videos on Full Screen show up tiered.

Postby stoneysilence » 13 Dec 2011 22:19

Not sure how to explain what the issue is but some movies (all MP4's, ripped with the same settings in Handbrake) when I have the VLC player maximized it will play the video "tiered". This also occurs when I have the video play in Full Screen. But if I turn Scale off and set the Zoom to 1:1 it plays fine (or play the video in a window (ie not full screen or the window maximized). But if I use the Zoom feature and set it to 2:1 then it does the tiered thing.

Did you test with VLC 1.2.0 nightly builds?

Tried it and it appears the tiered play back is gone. However it crashed every five minutes and every time it wasn't able to contact the FTP servers to upload the logs.
