ten second delay when recording

Postby bloodrune4 » 02 Dec 2011 05:51

I like to create cut ups of movies sometimes for youtube. Like if there's a car in a movie that I like, I put all the scenes together and post it. I use VLC to do this because the only other program I have (avidemux) creates horrible audio delay. Is there any way to remove the ten second delay in vlc? Or perhaps can you recommend a free program to cut videos up more efficiently.

danks

Did you try AVIdemux 2.6 builds?

If you use the red recording button in VLC, then the delay cannot be really controlled accurately. That is why video editors are more suitable for precise editing than VLC. VLC 1.2.0 might be a bit more better with certain video formats.
