Hi all.
I am trying to deploy VLC 3.0.1 to about 1000 Windows 10 computers using a Powershell script packaged in an SCCM application. As part of the installation, the script creates a shortcut on the Start Menu with the '--no-qt-privacy-ask --no-qt-updates-notif' switches, that effectively disables the prompt from appearing when the application is launched from that shortcut. However, if VLC is launched first by opening a media file, the "Privacy and Network Access Policy" prompt is still displayed. How can I get this prompt to be disabled when the application is first launched by clicking on a media file? I am posting in this thread because it seems this is the question the original poster had, which wasn't answered as far as I can tell. We use the standard VLC .exe installer; we do not write our own .bat files. Thanks in advance for assistance, and please let me know if I need to provide more information.
