subtitle folder

Postby thegab » 26 Oct 2011 22:23

Hi there !
My problem is this : each time i run a video and want to open correponding subtitles, vlc opens the search box on the system32 folder.
It gets very annoying. i have searched for an answer but not found much.
I have tried a lot of things in the parameters but still no success.
I'm running vlc 1.1 .11 on win 7 x64.
thanks in advance.

Why don't you just put the subtitle file next to the video file and rename it to match the name of the video?
In this case the subtitle file will be opened automatically.

e.g.
GoodFilm.avi
GoodFilm.srt
