forum overcrowded?

Hello.

I've gotten the following "500 message" recently, when posting message replies, or sometimes even just viewing the forum at all:

"too many connections to postgres database" connection rejected (or something along those lines).

(this prevents browsing the forum, or writing responses at times, might be worth remedying).

Hi, I'm really sorry to bother but I just came in here and have been looking for the last 30 minutes on how to make a new thread... yes, pretty stupid but i can't figure it out. would you give me a hint? thanks in advance and sorry again for bothering...

The machines seems to have some issue sometimes to handle all the load.

Ironically, just got it when viewing this thread.
The tough thing is when you go to post a "response" message and it fails--you don't know if you should try to repost it or not, and it's a bit disconcerting.

Yes, the forum traffic is going up, and the machine has issues to follow, especially on the postgres connections.

Perhaps increasing the postgres connection limit?

Will kill the postgres server. We are working on a better solution.
