Pixel doubling for 720p videos on 1440p monitor?

Postby Brod » 31 Oct 2011 06:06

I'm planning on buying a 1440p monitor soon and I watch a lot of 720p video. Does/will VLC support pixel doubling? It would be great to have a crisp image rather than the blurriness that other upscaling methods inevitably introduce.

There are quite a few swscale algorithm, but I am not sure pixel doubling is in this.
