Just did just now. perhaps I am getting the wrong end of the stick, but the parts I am trying to set either as default or from the command line is here:



i just cant seem to make it load like that, or automatically change to be that, or find a command line command for that. i've no idea what to do from here. even a registry hack or some type of program solution would be good. this may even be unrelated to this thread, but I cant tell either way, I suspect it is yes?

AFAIK that configure dialog comes from device driver. I don't know if there is a easy way to save changes to that or autoload certain settings.

thanks anyway, It just confused me that it was something I could set that appears to be in VLC, but doesn't appear to have an option to save or reassert the setting each time.

maybe i can mess around with the device driver itself, but I've no clue where to start with that.
