quick blackpoint adjustment?

Postby 32smooth » 27 Oct 2011 19:23

Hello,

I tend to rip my favorite movies from BlueRay to the harddisk in order zu quickly access them. Comparing the output from the BlueRay (played with PowerDVD) and the ripped movie played with VLC its obvious that the blackpoint is way off. What should be black is rather darkgrey. I wonder if there is a way to quickly correct that. In picture processing you can use a pipette to select a grey face in order to set the whitebalance. Maybe something like that is possible in VLC (quickly! - means not messing arount with the effects editor)? If not and theres no alternate way then call this a feature reqeust :)
