I have mp4 files but no software to edit them. But I do have VideoRedo, Windows Movie Maker and Adobe Premier Elements.
So the obvious thing is to use VideoLan to convert the mp4 files to something one of the above can edit. So that means converting to WMV or mpg or AVI. Which conversion is likely to produce the least degradation?
Ideally, during the conversion process I would like to tick the box 'keep original video track' which I imagine keeps the video in its original codec format?
