I've come to this post two years late I'm afraid. But, I have a similar problem(?) I too use Camtasia studio (8) to develop videos. Although mine are not educational they do contain chapters and tables of content.I have a series of educational videos created with Camtasia Studio (by TechSmith) that use the TSCC video codec. I distribute these for both Windows and Mac, and have been requiring the user to download the TSCC codec directly from TechSmith. However, I recently discovered that the VLC Player in Linux appears to have TSCC support built in. I am wondering if this is true for the Mac also? I checked the forums and the latest comments on this topic were from 2009. Apparently at that point the support was there, but was buggy. I don't have a Mac to check this out.
