TSCC Video Codec (from TechSmith)

I have a series of educational videos created with Camtasia Studio (by TechSmith) that use the TSCC video codec. I distribute these for both Windows and Mac, and have been requiring the user to download the TSCC codec directly from TechSmith. However, I recently discovered that the VLC Player in Linux appears to have TSCC support built in. I am wondering if this is true for the Mac also? I checked the forums and the latest comments on this topic were from 2009. Apparently at that point the support was there, but was buggy. I don't have a Mac to check this out.

Yes, it should be included for Mac too.

I've come to this post two years late I'm afraid. But, I have a similar problem(?) I too use Camtasia studio (8) to develop videos. Although mine are not educational they do contain chapters and tables of content.
So far I've only been able to render the final videos using the (MP4-Flash/HTML 5 player format) in the Camtasia 8 Production Wizard. As such the videos only have full capabilities (i.e. menus, toc's, and chapter jumps) when they're played using my browser ( internet explorer/ Firefox). But, when I use VLC I lose those functions, and am only able to play the rendered MP4 file. So, my question is, is there a way to render the video so that it will retain usable menu's and chapters etc., in VLC?
Any help here is greatly appreciated.
