How to make horizontale time slider in full screen longer?

For questions and discussion that is NOT (I repeat NOT) specific to a certain Operating System.

How to make horizontale time slider in full screen longer?

Postby thoste » 09 Oct 2011 14:26

When I start an *.avi video in window mode then at the bottom of the window there is a horizontal slider which let the user select a time position inside the video. The slider is as long as the VLC window.
Fine so far.

Now I press "F" and switch to full screen mode.
But the time slider has still the same length as in the window before.

I prefer to have a longer slider area to be able to position the current time more accurate than in the small version.

How can I tell VLC to enlarge the horizontal time slider in FullScreen mode to as broad as the full screen?

:D
Workaround: Decrease monitor screen resolution. Try to get width below 640 pixels.
