Discussion on the (deprecated) VideoLAN Server application as well as the miniSAPserver stream announcer. This is not about VLC!

vls.cfg configuration for streaming live video

Postby Sharath » 28 Jun 2005 15:48

Hi,

I want to stream live video (eg., ouput of an openGL spinning cube program) from PC/input device to PDA running pocketPC version of VLC.

I came across the VLS telnet interface where the start command takes the specific input, channel, program, but could not configure the input in vls.cfg file. Please help. Also please explain the further steps to be followed.

thanks,
Sharath

You should use VLC which is easier to use and have more possibilities than VLS. You can find documentation at http://www.videolan.org/doc/
