fps setting doesn't work in vlc sout

Hi everyone,

I am streaming files/live tv by vlc to my intranet, using multicast, rtp protocol.

I found that, with a 23.976 fps .mkv file, the out put fps in my client is 47.952431 in media information--codec deatil--stream 1.

I tried to specific a fixed fps in the command line, like this:

still, does'n work.

The fps in client shows is 47.952000.

So, what the problem? Both the server and client vlc is 1.1.4.

i've had a similar problem. For some reason the codec info shows the double amount of fps value. But i dont know if this is the case or just a display bug or maybe something to do with your/our settings.

I tried to drag the progree bar to the end, and I found the sound and pitcure doesn't sync.

So I think it may be something wrong..

I've tested this on a SIP phone and it didnt raise an issue.This seems like a display bug on vlc side. Try adding "audio-sync" to your transcoding parameters.
