VLC in Windows XP and Firefox

Postby miropiro » 16 Aug 2011 23:49

Hi, I really do not know, what to do with it. As I am using VLC in Windows XP and Firefox, very often I see, that some letters in my bookmark list under adress-line in Mozilla Firefox are "damaged" and modified. It is not a big problem, but how to change, that I do not see these changes of my letters by VLC.

Thanks a lot for your answers.

Hi Jean,

your example of vlc plugin doesn't work in Firefox

Could you kindly test your example once again and provide working examples ?

Windows XP, vlc plugin installed, Firefox 5, latest vlc from your web page.

What's wrong ?
Plugin commands don't work, javascript code doesn't work.

Can't make VLC plugin work on Firefox

Hi,

just testing plugin.
What's wrong is the example coming with dead multimedia link

http://server.example.org/video1.vob

try my demo

http://tweettv.orgfree.com/vlc.htm

Unfortunately I can't make javascript code to work to have plugin commands to work.
Don't know what's wrong.

I can set video to autoplay, but can't make plugin commands to work.

Looking for another player coming with firefox plugin and working commands, since vlc is not supported.

I think, that this must be done by VLC, because other programs I use, do not do it.

As I have my camera, I will a make video to show you exactly, how it looks, however other applications do not do these problems.
