opening multiple files, make vlc play the first file

Postby somedumbguy » 11 Jun 2010 15:05

is there a way to make vlc play the first file when you open multiple files in the finder? for some reason, vlc plays the last file in the playlist.

Not sure if it'll last but....I just ordered by Name, then Author, then re-ordered by Name and it seems to be working! (OSX btw, vlc Version 1.1.10.1)
Will it stand a restart?

edit:doesn't seem to work for the auto-start on the first batch you drop in there unfort. but does thereafter on manual starts

edit2: open vlc first THEN drop the files in, hit play (in mine assigned to space bar) and it plays from the first file. Simply dropping files onto the app/icon to open it results in playing from the last file.
huzzah
