TS AVC video length recognised

Postby crazy diamond » 31 Jul 2011 02:27

Hi,

When i play TS AVC "H.264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (h264)" files the duration isn't displayed. I guess that's why i can't jump forward or backwards using hotkeys or "go to time". Could you add support for this?

p.s VLC plays these dvb-t tv recorded videos fine and i can move forwards or backwards using the mouse and slider.

IIRC you can get times if you change demux module to ffmpeg.

Sorry for the question, but where is the demux module located? Also, is this for PC only?

Awesome! Thank you.

However, now I am having issues decoding SMPET 302m audio (PCM) and decoding CC's in a Transport Stream.

If I put the demuxer back to default, then the 2 points above are not an issue.

Any ideas?

You can't have both :D

Or you need to patch VLC.

Awesome! Where and how do you do it :s Sorry for such a basic question but I am just wrapping my head around all this. I took VLC for granted before, but I want to utilize all its power now!

Thanks for being patient!!
