Where is VLC's temporary folder?

Postby Animedude5555 » 03 Aug 2011 23:26

Ok I'm streaming live audio using VLC as the server, but after I close down VLC player, and then run it again and restart the stream transmitting it seems to "remember" how long it had been transmitting during the last streaming session. Also if I wait around for a few minutes and check my harddrive space, and then wait another couple minutes and check my harddrive space, it seems my free space on my hard drive has just gone down by a few kilobytes. Now I wanna know where it's storing these temporary files, and why it doesn't get rid of them upon program close. I am running 32bit Windows XP for my OS. I have checked VLC's program files. I checked both appdata and local appdata. I can't find ANY files with today's date being the file's modified data. Please help me. Thanks in advance.
