How to set setting for all videos

Postby Fishinsoup » 03 Aug 2011 01:02

Hello. I wanted to ask how can you put setting so that they apply to every video (and I don't have to put my preferable settings at every video). I know it is probably a stupid guestion, but I can't find the option.

Currently, you need to configure them in the preference panel (Tools -> Preferences).

I want to change different aspect ratio for all videos so I don't need to do it every time, and it is not in preferences.
Anyone knows how to do this?

I am also locking for a similar solution.
My VLC Window is allways bigger than the Screen (i use 4:3 Screen) specially by HDMI-Size-Files 16:9.
How can i get always the same (smaller) size by opening VLC?
