playing h264 mp4 with the latest vlc; media player classic; windows7 media player; and quicktime player pro (with gamma shift fix applied to the video);
why are the colors so washed on VLC ?

My nvidia gamma is set to override and not to "let applications decide", ...calibrated to my screen.
Even when switched the same result is present.
i've allwayes noticed this difference... on multiple setups... even mac.
it is known that apple h264 mp4 encoding has a gamma shift bug which can be fixed via quick-time pro...
but after applying the fix VLC still remains looking washy.
