.srt file doesn't show with movie

For questions and discussion that is NOT (I repeat NOT) specific to a certain Operating System.

.srt file doesn't show with movie

Postby Night » 21 Jun 2005 23:02

I'm using .srt subtitle files, but the strangest things happen:

on most movies, the subs work fine, but with some movies it just dosn't show. Even renaming the sub to exactly the name of te AVI, it won't show. Is there something i'm missing?

When opened in OSX's textedit, both subs look similar in buildup....

This one works...
1
00:00:24,409 --> 00:00:26,365
Het verkenningsschip is klaar.

2
00:00:27,769 --> 00:00:29,122
Lancering.
This one don't :(
1
00:01:30,802 --> 00:01:34,033
Vermist...

2
00:01:34,202 --> 00:01:37,399
naam: Dallas Britt

3
00:01:59,762 --> 00:02:01,992

You should try with a nightly build
http://xserve.via.ecp.fr/~videolan/macosx/

Let us know if that works for you.
