2 Questions: play Karafun files and open files in Pause mode

Hi,
i want to use the VLC-Player as an Karaoke-Player. I have different video-files and many CDG's and also KFN-files(from Karafun).
The video files and CDGs are not a problem, but the KFN files. Is there any plugin for these files? But if not i must convert these 50 files...
Thank god, that VLC play CDG. I have 6000 CDG files...

And the 2nd...
I open any File with a double click. Then the VLC-player play. But i want, that the VLC open the file in full screen mode and wait for a click to play (Pause mode). Is this possible?

KFN is not supported yet in VLC. Someone has to do the work.

I have implemented a plugin to vlc that does what you are looking for:
makes the played media start as "paused" then you can unpause by pressing the space, or by sending a special packet to the control port

Can you compile it yourself, or do you want me to send you the DLL?

I know your message has been written long years ago but I'm very interested by your answer that said that you've implemented a plug in for it. If you really have a solution for playing kfn files on vlc, I would like if you could tell me how to do.
